If human cloning technology becomes readily available, who could be affected negatively? and what destructive uses could there be for human cloning?
Human cloning technology poses some serious hypothetical risks for society. One major risk is the possibility that doctors and genetic engineers could be bribed to create clones of people in the case the person needs an organ transplant. Although this seems unlikely and expensive, it is still a possibility because people get very desperate when threatened with death and most people will go to any lengths possible to avoid death and bad health.
Another risk human cloning poses to society is the possibility of another hitler-like rise that results in a super criminal creating several clones of himself and raising the clones to follow his every command, much like Hitler and his Nazi troops. These clones would not have two parents and therefore wouldn't be likely to be a part of a stable, caring family. Also scientists could use cloning technology to try to develop new human traits artificially (refer to video.) The most problematic issue of human cloning is the fear that a class system will develop, separating clones from naturally born people.
